With the sheer splendor of the Alps presenting so many charms, it's perhaps not too surprising that so much of the region's accommodation comes up a little short. At Slow, our aim is simple - that the chalets themselves feel equally exciting and rewarding.

We have some basic rules in place to live up to this mantra. First up, only choose fantastic properties. Ones with character, top-notch facilities and blinding locations. Each has to pass what we call the 'hairs on the back of the neck' test.

Then we craft interiors that follow instincts not bandwagons. We take Alpine design as our inspiration, but stay clear of the cookie-cutter approach. The result is an eclectic fusion of the creative, the provocative and the inspirational. Places that are unashamedly stimulating, yet have a real sense of place. No two Slow Chalets will ever look the same.

Finally, we make them places you want to be in. For some the uniquely Alpine welcome will be enough. For others it will be the mountain toys, music and entertainment we provide you with. And for rest it could simply be the luxury of our bedrooms that will help you slow down and unwind.
